The ice is thick on the jetty and when the first rays of the sun hit the ice, it makes for a beautiful game. The sunrise gives beautiful and warm colors on the horizon. I encountered this sight one early winter morning at Bellevue, north of Copenhagen, and it was absolutely worth sitting and waiting for the sun’s rays to break the horizon.
